Ahhh look at my little hermit crab in progress!! This photo is blurry but I was too excited not to share.
Unfortunately I didn’t have time to do a sticker poll for this month, so I designed one based on one of my Inktober projects – hope you like it! I’m pretty happy with how the holographic details came out. These will be shipped to all sticker-tier patrons this week!
Plus, I totally forgot to post your discount for the month, sorry!! Here it is: use “PATDEC19” for 20% off your order through the end of the month. The new holographic ghost earrings will be ready really soon, plus a couple other pins I have in the works, so you’ll be able to put this coupon to good use if you’re inclined. 🙂
Sorry it has taken me so long to do these, everybody 🙈
I’ve teamed up with a small group of artists to raise money for Malala Fund! All weekend long, we are donating 100% of our profits on seconds to fight for girls’ education around the world. Snag some discounted pins, charms & keychains and support a great cause!
Any TikTok users out there? I’m just starting to get the hang of it myself. Anyway, I’ll be sharing my pin collection, cats, and I don’t know what else on there, so please follow if you’re interested! https://vm.tiktok.com/xdtqHY/
It’s been a long time since I’ve done a 3D design, I can’t wait to see how this one turns out! It is inspired by my grandmother & childhood, in two ways – one game I played with my cousins at Grammy’s house was “hide the thimble,” where you would (surprise) hide a thimble in plain sight and see who could find it first. My Grammy had quite a few thimbles, being a talented seamstress; she used to make tiny felt outfits for my Troll doll collection!
The hermit crab part of this was inspired by my annual visits to Cape Cod as a child, in Brewster specifically. If you’ve never been, Brewster is worth a visit for the flats alone – when the tide goes out, it goes FAR, and you can see a lot of interesting sea creatures while walking out there. The kids (me included) liked to dig long, maze-like systems of sand castles, pools & paths from the beach back into the sea, putting hermit crabs at the beginning to see how long it would take for them to make it to the end. The poor crabs probably didn’t appreciate our harassment, but they were quite smart, so it never took them very long!
A new batch of ghost acrylic earrings are on the way – but this time, they’re holographic!!
All of my risograph prints are 30% off this week, if you’re looking for a gift or whatever. No code needed – enjoy!
